“3+2” instrumental ensemble.

The leader of the ensemble – a professor of the folk music instruments department of the Kharkiv Kotlyarevsky Art University, the international contests prize-winner Igor Snedkov.
The ensemble was founded in 1998 from the students of the Kharkiv Kotlyarevsky Art University. In 1999 this group became the 2nd prize winner of the international music contest in Kliengental (Germany). At the same year this ensemble has been working in Kharkiv Philharmonic. The “Bis+Х” ensemble in new staff won the 1st prize of the 1st National variety actor contest in the “Instrumental ensemble” nomination (2002). In 2007 the ensemble won the Grand Prix at the 1st international folk music contest-festival “Samorodki 2007” (Sevastopol’, Ukraine).
The ensemble consists of Igor Snedkov (bayan, button accordion), Sergiy Kostogryz (stringed musical instrument - balalaika), Natalia Bashmakova (domra prima, domra alto – Russian stringed folk instruments),


Ludmila Aphonina (domra contrabass, accordion), Volodymyr Hol’tsov (percussion instruments). The “3+2” ensemble repeatedly performed in Germany, Russia, France and also played in the prestige concert halls of Ukraine. The ensemble’s repertoire is the popular instrumental music: folk, variety, jazz and academic/abstract. The musicians use an untraditionaly, bright and original interpretation for all the composition of all the musical orientation. High professionalism, ensemble team-work and performers’ artisty – all these things summon audience different age- and profession categories. Instrumentations and arrangements are created by the staff of the ensemble. The top-level Kharkiv soloist-vocalists, Honoured and People’s Artists of Ukraine cooperate with “3+2” all the time.
The repertoire of the ensemble is always refreshed. The musicians perform fantasies in Ukrainian, Russian, Neapolitan songs, popular instrumental music, waltz, tango, foxtrot and others.
